I am a Wedding Celebrant and a Registered Solemniser. Whether its a misty morning meadow, a calm secluded beach, a wild and wonderful woodland or an opulent castle courtyard I will guide you with confidence to go ahead and have that dream ceremony. I will tell your story by weaving everything you fell in love with into your perfect wedding or elopement ceremony. I will conduct your ceremony with love, humour, style and difference. A twilight vow renewal in front of your favourite shop or a fiery sunrise elopement on a cliff top! Hay bales for your wedding in a drafty barn or llama ring bearers on your grandmas farm! With an Independent Celebrant anything is possible. Your ceremony should reflect the amazing people you are and that takes time, skill, love - and ME.
I will craft a ceremony especially for you whether its one hundred or just two!
Fun Facts
I worked in Construction for 25 years as a Chartered Civil Engineer … Civil Engineer to Celebrant , sounds crazy right ! But there is a thread, I love the less ordinary and dare to be different whether that’s in my choice of career, my style or my love of working outdoors.
I am married with 3 sons and 1 daughter.
I am owner of the cutest little vintage caravan which I lovingly converted into the most stylish wedding cafe/bar you ever did see … check out the fabulous “Marilyn” over on my other website Hitched Collective, and there you have it … my “Hitched” theme and road to becoming a Celebrant !
My love of wine propelled me to go to Wine School … I have a WSET Level 3 with Distinction which is comparable to certified Sommelier.
My favourite band is Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats .

I became a Wedding Celebrant because I love weddings, I’m a bit of a show off and I enjoy making people laugh. There couldn’t be a better way to spend my time at work than being surrounded by pure happiness.
I’m motivated by people with a story to tell. Couples who don’t take themselves too seriously and who are open to celebrating in an “unboring” way!
I have a passion for design, project management and construction. I will bring that same passion when I create and build your unique wedding ceremony.
